I was booking my appointment and all of a sudden it disappeared. What happened? Is the appointment still available?

  • If you exit out of your appointment while in the middle of booking, my CRM will no longer display the appointment available online for at least 10 minutes to prevent somebody else from booking your time slot. Please delete any tabs you have open of my CRM (Goldie) and wait 10 minutes for the appointment to reopen.

I don't see the appointment that I want available online, but I really need it. What do I do?

  • Feel free to email us to see if we can accommodate the appointment. Appointments out of business hours can sometimes be accommodated at a $50 fee.

I would like a trial before booking. Can I do that?

When do I book my trial? 

  • You can book a trial at any point (the closer to your wedding date the better), however, your complementary trial (if you booked one) needs to be booked within 3 months of your wedding date for it to be complimentary as stated in your contract. (Ex: October wedding = can book complimentary trial July through October). All trials booked outside that timeframe will be charged as regular priced trials.

Where do I book my complimentary makeup trial?

  • Your complimentary makeup trial can be booked at https://book.heygoldie.com/MomentsBySam. All trials with Sam (special event trials, bridal trials, complimentary trials) are all booked under "trials".

I'm booking my complimentary trial but it's asking for a deposit, is that normal?

  • Yes! A deposit is required for booking your complimentary trial, but is refunded upon the completion of your trial. All in studio services require a deposit and follow in studio policy. If you no-show, cancel, or reschedule your trial, you will lose your deposit for that trial.

I would like a hair trial the same date as my makeup trial, how do I book that?

  • All hair trials, complementary or not, must be scheduled through email Info@MomentsBySam.com. Hair trials cannot be booked online. Once we agree on a date for both hair and makeup to happen, book your makeup trial online for that date. When booking your makeup trial please write "with hair trial" in the notes section of your appointment. This will be your request to follow through with both your hair and makeup trial for that date.

I'm a bridesmaid and would like a trial for hair, makeup, or both. Can I book that?

  • We do not book trials for bridesmaids. This is because we cannot guarantee you'll have the same artist the day of as you will during a trial due to timeline changes and time restraints.

I'm getting my bridal makeup/hair done with a team member and would like to book a trial. Where do I book that?

I would like to book my mother for hair and makeup on my wedding day. Does she fall under a bridesmaid service or is there a cheaper service available for her?

  • All adult services (8+ y/o) are priced the same, and are given the same amount of time the morning of regardless of makeup or hairstyle request. To be guaranteed a spot for hair or makeup on the wedding day, all services that are not bridal (bride's services) must be booked as a bridesmaid. This includes mothers and junior bridesmaids. The only exception is flower girls makeup under 8 years old.

My child under 8 years old would like to be included on makeup services. How do I book that?

  • Complementary makeup services are available for 1 flower girl per wedding under 8 years olds. This service includes mascara, blush, and lip gloss only. These services are not booked in advanced and are done during touch ups.

How do I avoid processing fees on my payments?

  • All electronic payments (card payments, tap to pay, ACH, Venmo) incur processing fees through our CRM. To avoid processing fees completely, you must pay in cash. Cash can be dropped off at our studio address or can be arranged for pick up if you live within 5 to 10 miles of Old Bridge, New Jersey. You can pay deposits, final payments, or partial payments in cash.

Can I pay my final payment in cash the day of my wedding?

  • No, unfortunately all payments must be completed (besides parking and hair extension fees if necessary) prior to your wedding day to keep the morning of smooth and stress free.
